The mission is unlocked after completing Complications.

Beginning at Michael’s house, grab Amanda’s convertible and head onto the freeway with Franklin. Jimmy is on a yacht pulled by a trailer ahead.
Move close enough to allow Franklin on board. With fast driving skills, Franklin can board the boat just as Michael exits the tunnel.
GOLD MEDAL REQUIREMENTS: "QUICK CATCH"
To achieve this requirement, Michael needs to catch Jimmy as fast as he can. As soon as Jimmy is seen dangling from the sail, get in close to the waypoint. This has to be done on the first try, otherwise consecutive attempts will omit the Gold requirement.
Fire over the side of the car to provide assistance to Franklin, then pull closer and allow him to escape onto the hood. Your car will develop mechanical trouble not soon after Franklin gets to safety.
Once everyone's back in the car, make a U-turn and make your way towards Los Santos Custom Shop to have Amanda’s car repaired.
GOLD MEDAL REQUIREMENTS: "NOT A SCRATCH"
This requirement applies only AFTER the car is repaired. Carefully drive the car back to Michael's house with no dings, dents, or scratches.
Return to Michael’s house with Amanda's car to complete the mission.
